With its driver-centric interface, the app provides quick access to maps and navigation, media/music players, phone calls, contacts, and other essentials. Car Penguin supports multiple languages, themes, and bidirectional layouts.

Customizable Dashboard

The dashboard is designed for quick access to key features, with fully customizable layouts and content.

Important: Each page in the app has its own options menu. To view these options, press the menu (hamburger) icon while the page is open.

Maps, Place Search, Points of Interest & Turn-by-Turn Navigation

View your current location, address, and traffic with Google Maps, configurable with various themes and layouts. Search for places, save them to lists for easy future navigation, and use Google APIs for directions and turn-by-turn guidance. Additional features include trip statistics and a complete travel log.

Music Playback and Video Viewing

Car Penguin includes a built-in media player for local audio and video files, with playback controls, album lists, and a dedicated page for app shortcuts. You can also add widgets from other popular media providers to the dashboard or toggle bar.

Smartphone Integration

Access your contacts and favorites lists to dial directly using the system dialer or route calls via Bluetooth to your mobile phone. For Bluetooth call transfer, call log sync, and SMS features, the free Car Penguin Server app (available at http://carpenguin.com) must be installed on your phone.
