Application Description
This app supports four popular rule sets:
+ GOMOKU Freestyle: The first player to form an unbroken row of five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins.
+ CARO (Blocked Rule, also known as Gomoku+, popular in Vietnam): The winner must have an unbroken row of five stones, not blocked at both ends. Lines like XOOOOOX or OXXXXXO do not count as winning.
+ GOMOKU Standard: The first player to achieve an unbroken row of five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins. Overlines (six or more stones of the same color) do not count as a win.
+ RENJU: Black (X), who moves first, has a known advantage. Renju introduces rules to balance this by restricting Black’s moves:
- Double Three: Black cannot place a stone that forms two separate lines of three black stones in unbroken rows (not blocked by an opponent’s stone).
- Double Four: Black cannot place a stone that forms two separate lines of four black stones.
- Overline: Six or more black stones in a row are not allowed.
This app features highly intelligent AI with multiple difficulty levels, from beginner to expert, or you can play with friends.
