The world has changed — and so must you. With the latest patch, Survive the Zombie Apocalypse delivers a brutal new wave of challenges, deeper progression, and terrifying new threats to test your survival instincts.

🌪️ Major New Features

✅ New Biome: The Infected Wastes
Venture into a desolate post-apocalyptic zone where nature has mutated in the grip of the zombie plague. Strange glowing fungi, toxic storms, and fast-moving Feral Z-Variants now roam the ruins. This area offers rare crafting materials and a legendary weapon quest.

✅ Shelter Overhaul – Tier-3 Upgrades Now Available
Your shelter isn't just a safehouse anymore — it's your fortress. New Tier-3 upgrades include:

• Bunker Reinforcement Field – Shields your base from zombie sieges and rival raiders.
• Automated Turrets (AI-Controlled) – Defend your perimeter while you rest or scavenge.
• Hydroponic Farm Module – Grow food 2x faster and reduce hunger penalties.

✅ New Crafting System: "Modular Gear"
Customize your weapons and armor like never before! Combine parts (barrels, blades, frames) to create unique gear with randomized stats. Find legendary components like Necro-Steel or Razor-Plate Fragments to forge legendary gear.

✅ The Blood Moon Event (Seasonal Raid)
Every 7 days, a Blood Moon rises. During this time:

• Zombies become stronger, faster, and emit fear effects.
• Rare loot drops (including the Crimson Blade, a one-handed weapon with a 10% chance to summon a zombie explosion on kill).
• All players face a 12-hour Survival Siege Mode — survive 5 waves of elite zombies and traitor raiders to earn exclusive rewards.

⚔️ Combat & Gameplay Enhancements

• New Combat Mechanic: Stagger & Counter
  Learn to time your dodges and parries. Perfect timing grants a "Soul Break" — a powerful counter that stuns and damages enemies.

• Improved AI Behavior
  Zombies now use flanking tactics, call for help when nearby, and can break through doors with explosives. No more mindless hordes — they’re smarter, scarier, and more deadly.

• Rival Survivor Encounters
  New faction NPCs: The Scavengers, The Cult of the Undead, and The Vanguard — each with unique goals, trade offers, and threats. Choose sides… or betray them all.

🛠️ Quality of Life Improvements

• ✅ Faster Travel System – Use salvaged vehicles (e.g. armored trucks, bikes) to move between zones with less risk.
• ✅ Auto-Save on Exit – No more losing progress after a close call.
• ✅ New HUD Options – Customize radar, health bars, and minimap for better readability in chaos.
• ✅ Improved Voice Chat & Signaling – Team up with allies via new hand signals and emergency beacons.

🏆 Quests & Rewards (New in 1.2.9)

• "Last Light of Haven" – Restore a forgotten radio tower to contact a rumored survivor outpost. Rewards: Advanced Medical Kit, Comms Drone, and a secret location map.

• "Silent Hunt" – Track down a legendary zombie named The Hollow King, who wears a mask made from human skin. Defeat him to unlock a new Class: Revenant (high mobility, fear aura, and soul drain ability).
