The app and the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader cannot issue alarms simultaneously. To receive phone alerts, start the sensor using the app; for reader alerts, start it with the reader. After initiating with the reader, you can still scan with your phone.

Important Note: The app and reader do not share data. For complete data, scan your sensor every 8 hours with each device. LibreView.com allows centralized data viewing from all devices.
