Critical Ops Worlds 2024: What to Expect
The Qualification Stage is open to all teams of seven players. Qualifiers are divided into Eurasia and America brackets, utilizing a single-elimination Best of Three format. The top eight teams from each region advance to the main event, creating a field of sixteen global contenders. Live streams of the Lower Bracket Quarter-Finals and Upper Bracket Semi-Finals (BO3) will air November 16th and 17th.
The Main Stage maintains continental divisions but shuffles brackets for dynamic matchups. A double-elimination format ensures teams have a second chance even after a loss. Winners from both Upper and Lower Brackets, along with the losing finalist, progress to the Final Stage.
The Final Stage features a single global bracket with six remaining teams, culminating in a Best of Seven showdown across December 14th and 15th.
Beyond the Championship
For casual players, an alien-themed Critical Pass is currently live, introducing extraterrestrial skins, cases, and credits to the game.
