Agent 47 Returns to Mobile in Hitman: Absolution, Pre-Registrations Now Open

Feral Interactive has launched pre-registrations for Hitman: Absolution on mobile devices, with an Android release scheduled for this autumn.

Developed by IO Interactive and originally released in 2012 as the fifth installment in the series, it is now making its way to handheld screens.

On Android, Hitman: Absolution serves as the second title in the franchise, following Blood Money – Reprisal, which launched in 2024. Agent 47 returns to mobile, bringing a deeply personal experience this time.

A Mobile Debut Over a Decade Later

The mobile adaptation features customizable touchscreen controls, full gamepad support, and compatibility with keyboard and mouse setups. Players can enjoy classic stealth mechanics, distractions, disguises, and dynamic sandbox environments.

Built on Glacier 2 technology, the port preserves the cinematic quality of the original release. It maintains the distinctive art direction and intricate level design, complemented by gritty noir-style voice acting and refined character animations.

A Story of Betrayal

The narrative follows the world’s most notorious assassin as he falls out with his own agency. After being tasked to eliminate his former handler, Agent 47 must confront his past employers and challenge his core beliefs.

With 20 missions available, players can utilize subtle disguises, environmental hazards, and heavy firepower to achieve their objectives through multiple paths. Experience sneaking past guards in disguise or clearing rooms instantly with Point Shooting techniques.
