Almost a year after Alan Wake 2’s release, Remedy Entertainment extends its gratitude to players and the community. Tomorrow's free Anniversary Update, launching alongside The Lake House expansion, significantly enhances accessibility. New options include infinite ammo, one-shot kills, and inverted horizontal axis controls. PS5 players will also experience improved DualSense functionality, with haptic feedback integrated into healing and throwable item usage.
This major update also incorporates numerous quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback. Remedy states that development hasn't stopped since launch, with work continuing on expansions and incorporating community suggestions into this Anniversary Update.
The new "Gameplay Assist" menu offers a range of toggles, providing players with customized control options:
