Ariana Grande is expanding her acting portfolio with a lead role in Meet the Parents 4, joining the returning duo of Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro.
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that the pop icon-turned-Wicked star will appear in the fourth installment of the beloved comedy franchise. Universal Pictures has scheduled the Focker-Byrnes family reunion for November 25, 2026.
Stiller and De Niro will reprise their iconic in-law rivalry for the fourth time. While Blythe Danner and Teri Polo are in final negotiations to return, THR reports one key plotline involves Polo and Stiller's son becoming engaged to an "all wrong" partner - a role reportedly earmarked for Grande.
The creative team brings back franchise veterans, with John Hamburg writing and directing while original trilogy director Jay Roach produces alongside De Niro and Jane Rosenthal through Tribeca Productions. Stiller's Red Hour Films and Hamburg's Particular Pictures will also produce.

Though primarily celebrated for her seven-album music career, Grande recently earned critical acclaim for her role in 2023's Wicked adaptation, which garnered her an Oscar nomination. She'll return as Glinda in the 2025 sequel Wicked: For Good before shifting to the Meet the Parents franchise.
