Baldur's Gate 3 mod has been updated. It added a “superboss” of level 27 and a sheep-killer

Trials of Tav - Reloaded, a substantial update by modder Celerev, transforms the Trials of Tav mod by adding a challenging roguelike mode. This update significantly increases the difficulty of the adventure.

This enhanced version boasts new adversaries, refined game balance, and a formidable level 27 superboss designed to challenge even veteran players. Conquering this monstrous foe signifies a complete playthrough.

The update extends beyond a single boss encounter; over 60 enemies from the original game, including rare foes such as Nine-Fingers Keene and Killer Sheep, have been incorporated. Gameplay mechanics have also been adjusted: trading has been rebalanced, and the difficulty scaling modified to prevent new enemy abilities from becoming insurmountable obstacles.

Mod creator Celerev acknowledges the invaluable contributions of Hippo0o, the original mod's author, highlighting the latter's role in creating an adaptable game mode. For players who prefer the original experience, the classic Trials of Tav remains available.

Players seeking a rigorous challenge, or those eagerly awaiting Patch 8 with its promised crossplay and other enhancements, will find Trials of Tav - Reloaded a compelling option.
