"Bam Margera to Feature in THPS 3+4 Following Tony Hawk's Insistence"

By GeorgeMay 07,2025

Bam Margera, a prominent figure in skateboarding and known for his role in the Jackass series, will be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, despite not being included in the initial roster announcement. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream on The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

PlayBagley revealed that the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk himself reached out to Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Although initially told it was not possible, Hawk's persistence paid off, showcasing his dedication to the skateboarding community. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera's journey has been well-documented, including his struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, as well as his dismissal from the Jackass Forever project and a restraining order issued against him by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine. Despite these challenges, recent footage of Margera skateboarding with Tony Hawk reignited speculation about his return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game has overcome significant hurdles, including the merger of its previous developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard, which initially threatened to derail the project.
