Beloved Sims Character Joins The Sims 4

By DylanApr 16,2025

Attention, Sim enthusiasts! The infamous Burglar is making a comeback in the latest update for The Sims 4. Available now on both PC and console, this update brings back the notorious Robin Banks, so it's time to secure your valuables. She typically strikes under the cover of night, targeting homes when everyone's asleep, but don't be fooled—she's bold enough to attempt a heist even if your Sims are awake. Stay vigilant!

To protect against this crafty thief, your Sims can install a burglar alarm. If Robin trips it, the police will arrive promptly to apprehend her and retrieve your stolen goods. Even if you don't have an alarm, you can still call the police quickly to intervene. For those who prefer a more hands-on approach, vigilante justice is always an option.

While burglar events are relatively rare, if you're craving more excitement, you can activate the Lot Challenge Heist Havoc to increase the chances of a visit from Robin Banks.

"We are so thrilled to finally bring the Burglar back into The Sims universe," The Sims' team announced. "A huge shout out to our entire team for making this a reality. Robin Banks isn’t just here to rob your Sims’ houses—she’s here to steal your hearts too! What better way to celebrate The Sims 25th Birthday than with this nostalgic yet fresh addition? We hope you’re as excited as we are to see what kind of chaos Robin Banks will bring to your households."

Despite being a decade old, The Sims 4 continues to grow. Last year alone, it welcomed over 15 million new players. According to EA's Q2 earnings report from late last year, The Sims 4, once a premium title, took four years to reach 20 million unique players. When it switched to a free-to-play model in 2022, it saw an astounding influx of 31 million new players immediately, bringing its total to 85 million by May 2024. And for those wondering, there are currently no plans for The Sims 5... yet!
