The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Buffer Weight Stock attachment is causing a stir, boosting the power of certain weapons. However, acquiring and using it isn't straightforward. This guide explains how to unlock and equip it.
Unlocking the Buffer Weight Stock
Unlike most attachments earned through leveling, the Buffer Weight Stock is unlocked via The Hit List event. Access the "Event" tab in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer main menu. Locate the "Community" section; the Buffer Weight Stock will be there, ready to unlock simply by viewing the page. The community goal of eight billion eliminations has already been surpassed, making the unlock readily available to all players.
Equipping the Buffer Weight Stock
While unlocking is easy, equipping the Buffer Weight Stock is more restrictive. It's compatible with only three weapons: the XM4 Assault Rifle, the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, and the XMG Light Machine Gun. This limitation prevents the attachment from dominating gameplay. Its significant accuracy boost makes it a highly desirable addition for these specific weapons.
To equip it, simply navigate to the Gunsmith for your chosen weapon (XM4, DM-10, or XMG). Select the Stock attachment slot and choose the Buffer Weight Stock. Then, get ready to dominate the competition and work towards unlocking the remaining rewards in The Hit List event.
