We rated the AMD Radeon RX 9070 an impressive 8/10. Priced the same as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, the RX 9070 outperforms it in most of the games we tested and comes with a more future-proof 16GB of VRAM compared to the RTX 5070's 12GB. Power consumption is also on par with the RTX 5070.

"The AMD Radeon RX 9070 is a stellar 1440p graphics card that makes its competition look outdated. It delivers outstanding 1440p performance, often reaching high refresh rates without frame generation, and includes an AI upscaler for enhanced image quality. The only downside is its proximity in performance to the Radeon RX 9070 XT."

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT earned a perfect 10/10 from us. Despite being $150 cheaper than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, the 9070 XT surpasses it in several of our game tests, with some results not even close. It also boasts 16GB of VRAM, matching both the 9070 and 5070 Ti. However, it does consume more power and runs hotter than the RTX 5070 Ti.
