This announcement contradicts the March 20th launch date suggested by the current Battle Pass countdown. The delay has sparked anticipation, particularly surrounding the rumored return of the popular Verdansk map. Activision has hinted at Verdansk's return this spring, further fueling speculation. A recent in-game shop pop-up teased "The Verdansk Collection" arriving March 10th, seemingly confirming the map's comeback.
While further details are promised next week, likely coinciding with "The Verdansk Collection" release, Season 2 has already provided ample content, including five new multiplayer maps, the Gun Game mode's return, new weaponry, operators, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event.
