Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game
Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards, presented in partnership with the BIG Festival. The awards ceremony featured a prestigious presentation, recognizing excellence across 13 categories.
A panel of 49 judges selected the finalists, all of which were playable at a prominent booth within the Sao Paulo Expo. It was refreshing to see mobile and PC games showcased together, highlighting the equal importance of both platforms.
The "Best Mobile Game" award was a highly anticipated accolade, ultimately won by Triband ApS's "What the Car?". This win is well-deserved, as previously noted in an article featuring ten lesser-known but exceptional games. This increased recognition may require updating that original list!
