Further expansion is promised with "Right to Rule," slated for release in Q2 or Q3 2025 (April-September). This DLC will include two additional leaders, four more civilizations, and fresh natural wonders to discover. March also sees the introduction of new in-game events and natural wonders, including the iconic Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest.
Firaxis is committed to enhancing the gameplay experience with added challenges and dynamic events. Civilization VII will launch across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Deluxe and Founders Edition owners enjoy a five-day early access period, starting February 6th. A day-one patch will also be released.
Firaxis Games and 2K have declared Civilization VII a "gold standard," signifying the completion of primary development and a strong indication of an on-time release, barring unforeseen circumstances. The highly anticipated game launches on February 11th, confirmed for compatibility with the Steam Deck. Prepare for your global domination!
