This marks one of the most unique guest character appearances in recent gaming history. Ronaldo, renowned as one of the greatest footballers alongside Lionel Messi, joins the launch roster, bringing his athletic prowess to the streets of the game's fictional universe.
SNK Corporation, the developer and publisher, unveiled a trailer showcasing Ronaldo's transformation into the game's comic-inspired art style. Ronaldo's in-game moves include football-inspired attacks such as the "Headed Clearance" command move and a slide tackle. Fans will also recognize his iconic 'Siuuu' celebration, although Ronaldo's voice is provided by actor Juan Felipe Sierra, not the footballer himself.

At 40 years old, Ronaldo currently plays for Al Nassr FC, a professional football club in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, competing in the Saudi Pro League. The club is majority-owned by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF), chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
