Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly anticipated the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a highly anticipated crossover. While the collaboration was well-received, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked debate among fans. Speculation ran rampant, with theories comparing CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. However, the explanation is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's loremaster and the decision-maker, clarified the situation. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. The choice of the female V was a logical consequence, given Johnny's male gender. Mills also admitted a personal preference for the female V.

Therefore, the omission of the male V wasn't a deliberate decision, but rather a practical one. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the earlier inclusion of John Wick.
