Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game, after multiple postponements, is now projected to launch in 2026.

Developer Sad Cat Studios previously announced a delay to 2025, describing the game's development as exceptionally challenging. The game's journey has been marked by setbacks, with previous release dates set for 2023 and then 2024. Despite these hurdles, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-tier product, acknowledging the considerable anticipation surrounding Replaced.

First unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's E3 presentation, Replaced has generated significant buzz. While Sad Cat Studios has yet to officially comment on this latest delay, they have consistently provided updates, including showcasing combat footage and a mini-game earlier this year. The continued silence regarding the 2026 release date adds to the mystery surrounding the game's development.
