Starting this week, Dell is rolling out an incredible offer on the Dell Tower Plus gaming PC, equipped with a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card, priced at just $1,649.99 with free shipping. This powerhouse can effortlessly handle games at up to 4K resolution, making it a steal compared to the RTX 5070 Ti prebuilt systems, which start at over $2,000 across various retailers.

The Dell Tower Plus is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 CPU, coupled with a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a speedy 1TB M.2 SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor boasts a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, with 20 cores and a hefty 36MB cache. For those seeking an extra edge, you can opt for the more powerful Ultra 7 265K model for an additional $100, which includes an upgrade from "Standard" to "Advanced" air cooling, featuring a more robust tower heatsink fan. However, for gaming, especially at higher resolutions, the CPU upgrade to Core i9 might not be necessary as performance is typically GPU-bound. The system is rounded out with a reliable 750W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super shines across all resolutions, from 1080p to 4K. At 1080p and 1440p, expect to achieve 144fps or higher in most games, making it an ideal match for FHD or QHD monitors with high refresh rates. While 4K is more demanding, you can still enjoy a smooth 60fps in most titles. Compared to the newer Blackwell cards, the RTX 4070 Ti Super outperforms the RTX 5070 and is only about 10%-15% less powerful than the RTX 5070 Ti. It also matches the VRAM capacity of the RTX 5070 Ti and 5080, though it uses older GDDR6 memory instead of GDDR7.

This costs hundreds less than an RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC

While the RTX 5070 Ti may offer slightly better performance, prebuilt systems featuring this GPU start at over $2,000, meaning you're looking at an additional $500+ for just a 10% performance boost.
