This animated series, a collaboration between Castlevania showrunner Adi Shankar and the acclaimed Legend of Korra studio, Studio Mir, was first announced back in 2018. The first season will consist of eight episodes.

While plot specifics remain shrouded in mystery, the teaser suggests a focus on Dante, likely from the era of the first three Devil May Cry games, though direct connections to the game's storylines are yet to be confirmed. Interestingly, Dante will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, known for his role as Nero in the video game franchise.

The last mainline Devil May Cry game, Devil May Cry 5, launched in 2019, marking a triumphant return for the series after a period of relative quiet following 2013's DmC: Devil May Cry. A critically acclaimed action title, Devil May Cry 5 is a must-play, especially for fans of titles like Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Read our full review here.
