Diablo IV Season 5: 15 New Unique Items Unveiled on the PTR
Fresh details from the Diablo IV public test realm (PTR) reveal a significant addition for Season 5: fifteen brand-new Unique items. These highly sought-after items, the pinnacle of in-game loot rarity, boast exceptional attributes, affixes, and visually striking designs.
The update introduces five "General" Unique items – the Crown of Lucian (helmet), Endurant Faith (gloves), Locran's Talisman (amulet), Rakanoth's Wake (boots), and Shard of Verathiel (sword) – accessible to all classes. These items offer substantial stat boosts; notably, the Crown of Lucian boasts an impressive 1,156 armor, while the Shard of Verathiel delivers a powerful 1,838 damage per second.
Beyond the General Uniques, each class receives two exclusive additions:
- Barbarian: Unbroken Chain (amulet) and The Third Blade (sword).
- Druid: Bjornfang's Tusks (gloves) and The Basilisk (staff).
- Rogue: Shroud of Khanduras (chest armor) and The Umbracrux (dagger).
- Sorcerer: Axial Conduit (pants) and Vox Omnium (staff).
- Necromancer: Path of Trag'Oul (boots) and The Mortacrux (dagger).
Acquisition of these coveted items has also been streamlined. In addition to traditional monster drops, players can now find Unique and Mythic Unique items within Whisper Caches, from the Purveyor of Curiosities, and via Tortured Gifts during Helltides. However, Blizzard emphasizes that Infernal Hordes, the game's new endgame mode, presents the highest probability of obtaining these powerful additions. Season 5 promises a significant upgrade to the loot experience for all Diablo IV players.
