Dredge, the eldritch fishing sim, is set to hit mobile later this month with new release date

By LeoMar 05,2025

Dredge, the critically acclaimed eldritch fishing simulator, is finally setting sail for mobile devices! Initially slated for a later release, the game will now cast its line onto iOS and Android on February 27th.

After several date shifts, fishing enthusiasts can prepare to experience the chilling isolation of the deep sea. In Dredge, players assume the role of a nameless fisherman navigating a desolate archipelago, tasked with catching and selling fish to the island's inhabitants. But beneath the surface of this seemingly simple task lies a deeper mystery, involving boat upgrades, exploration, and unsettling nocturnal encounters.

As previously reported, the mobile port faced delays, initially pushing the release to February 2025. However, the iOS App Store listing has been updated to reflect the new February 27th launch date. The Android Google Play listing is expected to follow shortly.

Beyond the core fishing gameplay, Dredge offers a surprisingly deep upgrade system and a generous helping of Lovecraftian horror. While details on potential DLC remain unannounced, the base game already boasts expansions that significantly broaden the archipelago's scope.

With its charming low-poly visuals and engaging gameplay, Dredge is poised to become a mobile gaming favorite.
