EA Play Bids Farewell to Two Titles in February 2025

Get ready, EA Play subscribers! February 2025 marks the departure of two popular titles from the EA Play game library. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15th, followed by F1 22 on February 28th. This removal doesn't signify an immediate shutdown of online functionality for these games, but it does mean they'll no longer be accessible through your EA Play subscription. Fans should make the most of their remaining playtime.

Beyond these removals, EA also announced the February 17th shutdown of online services for UFC 3. While the game's availability on EA Play remains uncertain after this date, the loss of online features significantly impacts its overall experience.

Games Leaving EA Play:

  • Madden NFL 23 – February 15th
  • F1 22 – February 28th

Despite this news, EA Play subscribers still have plenty to look forward to. Newer iterations of these franchises—Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4—remain available. Furthermore, UFC 5 is set to join the EA Play lineup on January 14th, offering a fresh fighting experience. While losing games from a subscription service is never ideal, the availability of updated versions should help ease the transition.
