FromSoftware Confirms Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Participants
FromSoftware has thrilled fans by announcing on their X (formerly Twitter) page on January 30, 2025, that they have sent out confirmation emails to those selected for the Elden Ring Nightreign network test. Participants who received their initial confirmation will get a follow-up email on February 11, 2025, containing a unique code to download the Network Test client. The test will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. The registration window for the test ran from January 10 to January 20, 2025. Unfortunately, those who applied but did not receive a confirmation email have no further information on additional test dates.

- Session 1: February 14th from 3 AM to 6 AM PT

Beware of Scammers and Scalpers Targeting the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test
As excitement builds around the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test, there are reports of scams circulating on Steam. Some players have received fraudulent invites that, when clicked, redirect to suspicious pages that hack their accounts and spam their friend lists with the same malicious invite. FromSoftware has clarified that all official communications related to the playtest are only through their website and social media, so any external links should be considered unauthorized or potentially harmful.
Additionally, shortly after FromSoftware announced the dispatch of confirmation emails, scalpers began listing so-called "confirmed test codes" on various online buy-and-sell platforms. These listings, which appeared even before the codes were set to be distributed on February 11, are priced exorbitantly at $150 to $200, with some even being auctioned off.
Elden Ring Nightreign was first unveiled at the Game Awards 2024, slated for release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. While FromSoftware has set a 2025 release window, an exact date has yet to be announced.
