In an unexpected turn of events, Konami and FIFA have teamed up for a groundbreaking esports event, marking a significant crossover after years of rivalry between FIFA and PES. The FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024 will be hosted on Konami's eFootball platform, blending the best of both worlds in the gaming community.

The In-Game Qualifiers Are Already Live In eFootball!

This year's tournament is set to thrill fans across two categories: Console (PS4 and PS5) and Mobile. A total of 18 countries will vie for glory in the final rounds: Brazil, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.

From October 10th to 20th, participants will navigate through three-part in-game qualifiers. Following this, the National Nomination Phases will commence from October 28th to November 3rd, determining each country's representatives. The grand finale is scheduled to take place offline by the end of 2024, though Konami has yet to disclose the exact date. Even if you're not from one of the 18 countries, you can still participate in the qualifiers up to Round 3 and earn rewards such as 50 eFootball coins, 30,000 XP, and other in-game goodies.
