Charlie Cox's successful transition from Netflix's Daredevil to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has sparked speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Iron Fist actor Finn Jones recently expressed his enthusiasm for a return, stating, "I’m here and I’m ready."

Jones last portrayed Danny Rand in Season 2 of the Iron Fist Netflix series and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil/Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). However, Jones' portrayal of Iron Fist received mixed reviews from fans, leading some to question whether Marvel would include Iron Fist in future MCU plans.

The successful integration of Daredevil into the MCU has fueled hopes for a revival of The Defenders, with recent reports suggesting Marvel is "exploring" this possibility. During a recent anime convention, LaConve, in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, Jones addressed the criticism surrounding his portrayal of Iron Fist and appealed to fans and Marvel for another chance.

"There is a willingness for the fans to see that happen," Jones told the audience when asked about his potential return as Iron Fist. "There’s a lot of willingness for the fans to see that not happen as well. I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is like, give me a f***ing chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."

Daredevil: Born Again continues the storyline established on Netflix, which once housed its own mini Marvel universe, including shows like Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. These series, along with the broader Defenders narrative, are now officially part of the MCU canon, available alongside other MCU content on Disney+. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, previously exclusive to Netflix, also features in Daredevil: Born Again.
