Independent game developer Kyrylo Burlaka has unveiled Fracture Point, an exhilarating new roguelike first-person shooter that blends the thrill of procedurally generated levels with the excitement of looter shooter mechanics. Set in a gripping dystopian metropolis, the game places you in the midst of an intense war between a formidable corporation and the resistance.

As you ascend the corporation's towering skyscraper, you'll need to scavenge for essential gear and loot to enhance your character's abilities. Each floor presents new challenges, from battling mercenaries and clashing with security forces to confronting powerful bosses. Fracture Point evokes memories of Criterion's iconic PS2-era first-person shooter, Black. If you feel the same after watching the trailer, you're not alone. When I shared this sentiment with Burlaka, he acknowledged, "Criterion's games were a significant part of my gaming experience growing up," suggesting the influence is indeed intentional.

To stay updated on Fracture Point's development journey and to be among the first to play when it launches, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
