Freedom Wars Remastered: Expanding Your Combat Item Arsenal
Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout customization. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items – finite consumables with various uses – require strategic management. This guide addresses both equipping and acquiring more Combat Items.
How to Equip More Combat Items
Initially, you can only equip one Combat Item. To increase this limit, you need Entitlements.
- Access the "Window On Liberty" in your cell.
- Select "Claim Entitlements."
- Navigate to the "Equipment" section.
- Locate the "One-Item Permit" (far right tab). Subsequent permits, allowing up to four Combat Items, unlock sequentially.
These permits become available early in the game; all four should be accessible by CODE level 3. Remember, purchasing a permit unlocks the next one. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, utilizes all available grenades. Your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item for independent use.
Where to Get More Combat Items
After completing the initial missions, access "The Warren" HUB area. Within The Warren (upper level, right side), find "Zakka," a store offering:
- Munitions: Direct damage-dealing items.
- Medical Supplies: Healing, ailment cures, and ammo refills.
Combat Items are purchased individually; bulk buying can be expensive in Entitlement Points. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding gains.
