Publisher Dotemu, in collaboration with Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, has announced the upcoming release of Absolum—a thrilling fantasy beat 'em up infused with roguelite mechanics. Set in the enchanting yet shattered world of Talamh, the game's narrative unfolds in a realm scarred by a devastating magical cataclysm. The locals, fearful of magic, are manipulated by the tyrannical King-Sun Azra, who, with the aid of his oppressive Crimson Order, enslaves mages to maintain his iron grip on power. Against this backdrop, a courageous band of heroes emerges to challenge his rule. This eclectic group includes the necromancer Galandra, the defiant gnome Karl, the skilled mage Brom, and the enigmatic Sidr.
In Absolum, players will dive into intense combat scenarios enriched with upgradable abilities, powerful combos, and an arsenal of magical spells. The game supports both solo and cooperative gameplay, allowing players to team up, coordinate their attacks, and unleash devastating synchronized strikes.
