Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This counter-intuitive method leverages the Hydro Traveler, often considered a weak DPS character, to dramatically reduce enemy health.
The exploit's simplicity is deceptive. Without delving into the game's code, the process involves the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst and a collection of Xiao Lanterns obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival. By strategically placing numerous lanterns near a boss and then activating the Elemental Burst, the boss's health bar plummets due to the Burst's amplified AoE damage when interacting with objects. Deploying a hundred lanterns can result in millions of damage points.
While this exploit is expected to be patched in a future update, it currently provides a remarkably easy way to conquer challenging boss encounters.
