PlayStation and Sucker Punch Productions have officially announced the release date for the much-awaited sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, titled Ghost of Yōtei. On April 23, the team released an enthralling new trailer called "The Onryō’s List," which not only showcases the game's immersive story but also offers a glimpse into its dynamic gameplay. The trailer concludes with the exciting announcement of the game's launch date: October 2, 2025.
Set 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yōtei follows the gripping tale of Atsu, who embarks on a vengeful quest in the heart of Ezo (present-day Hokkaido). Her mission is to hunt down the notorious Yōtei Six, a group of outlaws responsible for her family's demise. The targets she seeks to eliminate are The Snake, The Oni, The Kitsune, The Spider, The Dragon, and Lord Saito.
As a standalone sequel, Ghost of Yōtei builds upon the success of its predecessor by introducing a variety of new weapons, innovative mechanics, and enhanced features.
