Greak: Azur Memories Debuts on Android

Greak: Memories of Azur is coming to Android later this year. The developers recently unveiled a new teaser for the Android version during the latest Latin American Games Showcase. Originally released on PC in August 2021, this 2D hand-drawn platformer is scheduled to arrive on mobile in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Greak: Memories of Azur Is Coming Exclusively to Android

This single-player Metroidvania platformer features side-scrolling gameplay with beautiful 2D hand-drawn visuals—arguably one of its strongest aspects. The narrative focuses on three siblings: Greak, Adara, and Raydel. Players control each of them alternately as they explore an interconnected world.

Greak serves as the main protagonist. Alongside his older brother Raydel and sister Adara, he makes up the central trio. He is the most agile of the three, capable of slipping through narrow spaces thanks to his small size. He fights using a Laurean Sword, a weapon originally belonging to Raydel.

Adara is a magic user from the Prya monastery who can levitate and dive underwater. Her ability to cast ranged spells makes her essential for both combat and exploration. Raydel is the most powerful warrior in the group, using a hookshot for mobility and providing raw strength and a reliable shield.

What’s the Story?

The realm of Azur is crumbling under a centuries-long invasion. The Courines are escaping an otherworldly force that is corrupting the land with strange creatures. Your objective is to survive, keep your family united, and face various threats while solving environmental puzzles.

The game offers 25 trophies in total: 8 bronze, 9 silver, 7 gold, and a platinum trophy. Puzzles are tailored to each character’s abilities, creating a thoughtful mix of storytelling and interactive challenges that elevate it above standard platformers.
