The Grand Theft Auto V franchise continues to dominate, surpassing 210 million units sold globally. GTA Online also performed exceptionally well, with the "Agents of Sabotage" holiday update and continued growth of the GTA+ membership program (10% year-over-year increase).

Other titles also saw significant success: NBA 2K25 sold over 7 million units, accompanied by substantial increases in player engagement metrics (Recurrent Consumer Spending up over 30%, Daily Active Users up nearly 20%, and Monthly Active Users up nearly 10%). Red Dead Redemption 2 exceeded 70 million units sold, benefiting from continued updates to Red Dead Online, including the popular Halloween pass. The game is currently enjoying its highest concurrent player count on Steam (99,993 players, according to SteamDB).

Dispelling Rumors: Steven Ogg on His GTA 5 Role

Addressing persistent rumors, GTA 5 actor Steven Ogg (Trevor) clarified on the Inside You podcast that he doesn't dislike his character. He simply prefers not to be called Trevor outside of his acting work. He confirmed his friendship with the actors portraying Franklin and Michael, and briefly mentioned a recent Comic-Con appearance with them. While he previously suggested a potential (and fatal) cameo for Trevor in GTA 6, he confirmed he hasn't recorded any lines and has no knowledge of Trevor's inclusion in the upcoming game.

While a Fall 2025 release is anticipated for GTA 6, no official release date has been announced. For the latest updates, visit our Grand Theft Auto 6 page.
