In *Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii*, Goro Majima showcases his versatility with two distinct fighting styles, including the "Sea Dog" pirate style, which boasts four powerful finishers perfect for tackling large crowds. Unlocking all the dark instruments, however, is a challenging journey that adds depth and excitement to the game.

How To Obtain The Dark God’s Violin in Pirate Yakuza

The Dark God’s Violin is your first foray into the world of Dark Instruments and is crucial for advancing the main storyline. You'll encounter this opportunity in Chapter 2, where Jason, a crew member, directs you to meet an old friend. This meeting leads to a confrontation with the Devil Flag pirates, who have not only killed Jason’s friend but also stolen the Pharoh Stone, a treasure of immense value.

The narrative deepens as you meet Misaki, the orphaned daughter of Jason’s deceased friend, who joins the Goro Pirates seeking vengeance. This sets the stage for a side story that leads you to the islands east of Madlantis. Here, you'll face a formidable fleet of Devil Flag pirates. Focus your attacks on the boss ship to advance to the next stage of the battle on their vessel. Victory over the Devil Flags grants you the Dark God’s Violin, allowing you to unleash this new finisher in a thrilling 100-enemy brawl on the island.

A subsequent cutscene introduces the captains of the Devil Flag fleet—Yakuza, Ronin, Shinobi, and Zeus—who challenge the Goro Pirates. While defeating them is optional for the main storyline, it's essential for collecting all the Dark Instruments.

How To Obtain The Dark God’s Ocarina in Pirate Yakuza

Following your victory over the first boss ship and the initial brawl, you'll notice Devil Flag markers scattered across the waters. Defeating these ships will earn you Devil Flags, and accumulating 70 of these is necessary to unlock the next Dark Instrument. Be proactive in engaging these ships and clearing out any Devil Flag-occupied treasure islands to quickly gather the required flags.

Once you have 70 flags, Atali Island becomes accessible. Prepare a strong landing party, as you'll face multiple waves of attackers. After overcoming these challenges, you'll reach a treasure chest containing the Dark God’s Ocarina. However, you must first defeat Devil Flag Captain Yakuza to claim it.

How To Obtain The Dark God’s Guitar in Pirate Yakuza

After defeating Captain Yakuza, the narrative unfolds with new objectives leading you to an island where the Pharoh Stone is supposedly hidden. This turns out to be a ruse, resulting in another 100-enemy battle where you can test the Dark God’s Ocarina. The story then directs you to Flame Island, where Zeus is headed. To proceed, you'll need at least a three-star ranking and 130 Devil Flags.

Navigate to the Flame Entrance Lighthouse to trigger a cutscene, unlocking four treasure islands: Sunset, Heatwave, Welldone, and Scorching Heat. Remember, these islands don't allow the use of health items during battles, so ensure your crew is well-upgraded. After conquering these islands, engage in another fleet battle, focusing on the boss ship. Board it, defeat the first mate, and land on Flame Island with Jason, Masaru, Minami, and Saejima. After a series of smaller battles, you'll face Captain Ronin. Utilize your Dark Instruments to emerge victorious and claim the Dark God of the Earth’s Guitar from the treasure chest.

How To Obtain the Dark God’s Saxophone in Pirate Yakuza

The final Dark Instrument, the Dark God’s Saxophone, requires a Pirate Rank Four, achieved through completing main story missions, recruiting crew members, and engaging in mini-games and side quests. Additionally, you need to collect at least 220 Devil Flags.

Head to the Frost Entrance Lighthouse to initiate a cutscene, leading to a battle with the Devil Flag’s Fleet blocking the entrance to Frost Island. Four more islands—Snowview, Coldwave, Icicle Island, and Glacial—are available for plunder and flag collection. Defeat Captain Shinobi’s First Fleet before landing on Frost Island, where you'll navigate through a series of battles leading to a cave and a recovery area.

The final boss fight against Captain Shinobi awaits beyond the recovery area. Upon defeating him, a cutscene with Zeus unfolds, where he takes Misaki hostage, ending the level with Goro acquiring the Dark God’s Saxophone. One final battle against Zeus remains to rescue Misaki, though it's not necessary for obtaining the Dark Instruments.

And that's how you secure all four Dark Instruments in *Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii*.
