Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Hush, My Darling Walkthrough

Instead of starting in Kuttenberg City, this side quest begins with Miskowitz in the Kuttenberg Region, located west of the city. Prepare to utilize your blacksmithing expertise to complete "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.

Speak with Martha

Find Martha in the house adjacent to the forge in Miskowitz, situated in the village's southeast area. When you approach her and offer assistance, she'll mention needing someone skilled in smithing. Respond with "I'm a blacksmith! I'd be glad to help" to initiate the "Hush, My Darling" quest.

As an alternative starting point, you can first speak with the bailiff about Matthew (from the Dry Devil's group) who stands near Martha. The bailiff's location marker can help guide you to Martha if needed.

Craft Horseshoes

You may already possess the necessary items - specifically two Farmer's Horseshoes from previous blacksmithing practice. Otherwise, gather two Scrap Metal pieces and use the forge. After crafting the horseshoes, return them to Martha to progress the quest.

Locate Victoria

Martha directs you to deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, whose home is slightly south of the forge. Upon arrival, you'll discover bloodstains rather than Victoria inside the first left-hand door. Examine the blood when prompted, then report your findings back to Martha, who suggests investigating Sigismund's camp.

Investigate Sigismund's Camp

The camp lies south of Opatowitz. While en route, you might encounter Matthew if you're still pursuing the Dry Devil questline. The camp's blacksmith reveals a soldier called Black took an interest in Victoria. Find Black in the infirmary tent, where he's recovering from illness.

Black requests a Digestive Potion for his food poisoning before cooperating. If you lack one, craft it and return later. After several hours when the medicine takes effect, he'll reveal Victoria might have headed east into the woods. Follow your map marker to find her sitting on a tree stump.

When speaking with the distressed Victoria, your dialogue choices won't affect later events. However, mentioning Black's promise to care for her provides comfort and hope, concluding the "Hush, My Darling" quest. You can now continue main quests or pursue other side activities like "In Vino Veritas."
