Hearthstone Drops Season 8 ‘Trinkets & Travels’ With New Passive Power-Ups!

Hearthstone enthusiasts, get ready for an exhilarating ride with the launch of Season 8, which introduces a slew of exciting new elements to Battlegrounds. Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started, you'll find plenty to love in this update.

Here's the Full Scoop!

Following the Perils in Paradise update, Hearthstone Season 8 is here with a bang. One of the standout features is the introduction of Trinkets, which serve as the new power-ups you'll be eager to get your hands on. There are 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets available, and you have the option to stack some of them for even more power.

You'll have the chance to pick these up on turns 6 and 9, with four options presented each time. The Trinkets you receive are influenced by your chosen hero and the composition of your Warband. Whether you're building around Elementals, Dragons, or Murlocs, there's a Trinket tailored to enhance your strategy.

Introducing the new hero, Marin the Manager, who's shaking things up by allowing you to grab an extra Trinket a turn earlier than usual. With Marin on your side, you're always one step ahead. Curious about Marin? Take a look right here!

Hearthstone Season 8 Is Doing A Bit Of Housecleaning

Season 8 also brings some changes to the minion pool. A total of 41 minions are being removed, but don't worry—22 fan-favorite minions are making a triumphant return, alongside 27 brand new minions and 2 new Tavern spells to keep the game fresh and exciting.

Additionally, four new cards are being introduced. Free Travel Winner (Tier 2) is a 2/2 minion that vanishes after surviving combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward. Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4) enhances your lower-tier minions, giving them a much-needed boost.

Lucky Egg (Tier 5) transforms into a Golden Tier 3 minion, adding a strategic element to your deck. Lastly, Sun Screener (Tier 6) is a formidable 10/1 minion that bestows Divine Shield upon your three left-most minions and one of your opponent’s, turning the tide of battle in your favor.

From August 27th to September 17th, dive into the Marin Resort’s Treasure Hunt during Hearthstone Season 8. This event is packed with quests that, when completed, will earn you a total of 14 packs, including some from the Perils in Paradise and Whizbang’s Workshop expansions.
