Get ready, Trailblazers! Honkai: Star Rail is set to launch its Version 3.2 update, 'Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,' on April 9th. This update promises a deep dive into new lore, epic battles, and the introduction of exciting new characters. Coinciding with the game's two-year anniversary, HoYoVerse is rolling out a series of special events and generous giveaways to celebrate this milestone.
What’s in Store in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2?
The update introduces two new 5-star characters: Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition). Castorice, a Chrysos Heir with a tragic backstory and the burden of the Touch of Death, embarks on a quest to find the lost Coreflame of Death, wielding the formidable Netherwing. Her abilities are as captivating as her story.
Anaxa, on the other hand, brings a scholarly approach to the team. As one of the Seven Sages of the Grove of Epiphany, his dark experiences have reshaped his understanding of reality. His Ultimate, Sublimation, is a game-changer, capable of applying seven Weaknesses to every enemy simultaneously.
Returning characters will also have their moment in the spotlight. In the first half of Version 3.2, players can look forward to reruns of Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron. Dr. Ratio makes a comeback in the second half, giving players another chance to add him to their roster.
HoYoVerse has teased balance changes for Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu coming in Version 3.4. While specifics are yet to be revealed, these adjustments are eagerly anticipated. For a sneak peek at what's coming in Version 3.2, check out the trailer below.
The Story This Time Is Heading to Styxia
The narrative in Version 3.2 takes players to Styxia, a forgotten city buried under the Sea of Souls. This eerie location is filled with dragon bones and haunted by spirits. Trailblazers will guide Castorice through this haunting environment, uncovering the secrets of the Titans and the catastrophic draconic event that devastated the city.
To mark the game's two-year anniversary, HoYoVerse is offering 20 free pulls just for logging in. On the anniversary day, April 26th, players will receive 1,600 Stellar Jades and a special in-game card from a companion. Additionally, players can choose a free 5-star character between Ruan Mei or Luocha.
