Recently leaked in-game animations for the highly anticipated Honkai: Star Rail character, Screwllum (Mechanical Aristocrat Screwllum I), have surfaced. Since its April 2023 launch, Honkai: Star Rail's roster has expanded significantly with each update, adding new playable characters. The current 2.3 update introduced Firefly and a re-run for Ruan Mei, while the second banner features Jade and Argenti.
Screwllum, a mechanical lifeform and resistance leader against the Genius Society #27, Rubert I, has already appeared in the main storyline. A leaker, fireflylover, showcased Screwllum's animations, possibly emotes or menu animations. It's important to note that this data predates Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0, so HoYoverse may have since altered his model.
Screwllum's Release and Abilities: Speculation and Leaks
Herta, another Genius Society member, has described Screwllum as possessing top-tier hacking skills, rivaling Silver Wolf. Many believe his combat animations will reflect these skills. Leaks suggest he'll be an Imaginary-type offensive character. His skill will likely inflict multi-target Imaginary damage, scaling with ATK, while his ultimate will reduce enemy Imaginary resistance and attack all enemies.
Currently, there's no confirmed release date. The recent Special Program didn't reveal Screwllum, indicating he won't be released soon. He's confirmed absent from updates 2.3 and 2.4, which will feature Yunli and Jiaoqiu. Yunli is expected on the first limited banner of 2.4, with Jiaoqiu following in the second phase.
