Remastered Version Required

The ability to leverage the effects of two outfits relies on the Remastered edition's transmog feature, introduced via a recent patch. This allows you to maintain the stats and effects of one outfit while visually displaying another.

Outfit Requirements

This dual-outfit method has limitations. While your primary outfit can be any you choose, your secondary (for visual transmog) must be one of the following Banuk Werak outfits, obtained from the Frozen Wilds DLC:

• Banuk Werak Runner
• Banuk Werak Chieftain
• Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept (New Game Plus only)

Access to the Frozen Wilds DLC isn't contingent on completing the main game.

Acquiring the Banuk Werak Outfits

Banuk Werak Runner

Reach the Frozen Wilds expansion area. Defeat the initial machine (adjust difficulty if needed). Locate a Bluegleam Merchant (blue merchant icon) and purchase the Banuk Werak Runner outfit. Costs:

Banuk Werak Chieftain & Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept

Complete the "For the Werak" quest (Frozen Wilds' third main quest). This quest can be challenging; consider lowering the difficulty if necessary. The Adept version is only obtainable in New Game Plus (NG+).

Combining Outfit Effects

1. Equip Primary Outfit: Select your desired outfit—the one providing your preferred stats. Enhance its stats using Weaves if needed.
2. Transmog: Use the transmog feature to apply the appearance of one of the three Banuk Werak outfits.
3. Benefit from Both: You retain your primary outfit's stats while gaining the auto-healing effect of the Banuk Werak outfit. The Chieftain and Chieftain Adept offer significantly faster healing than the Runner. Combining this with an outfit like the Shield Weaver makes you incredibly resilient.
