Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection: A Blast from the Past on Switch and Steam
Konami is celebrating Yu-Gi-Oh!'s 25th anniversary with the upcoming release of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for Nintendo Switch and Steam. This nostalgic package will feature a selection of classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games, initially including:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2
Konami has confirmed that this is just the first wave of titles, with a total of ten classic games planned for the collection. The full lineup will be revealed at a later date.
These original Game Boy titles will receive a significant upgrade for modern audiences. Konami promises online battle support, save/load functionality, and enhanced online multiplayer for titles that originally featured local co-op. Quality-of-life improvements, customizable button layouts, and background options are also planned.
