Bethesda has announced that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will receive Update 3 next week, promising a host of fixes and enhancements. In a recent tweet, Bethesda shared preliminary details about the update, which includes support for Nvidia DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction. These additions are expected to significantly boost the game's performance and visual quality.
Since its launch in early December, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been plagued by several game-breaking bugs. Players are eagerly anticipating that Update 3 will address these issues, especially after Bethesda mentioned in February that the upcoming update would introduce new graphical features and options. The patch is also expected to fix problems that have hindered players from achieving 100% completion and from navigating specific in-game challenges like climbing vines or squeezing through walls in Sukhothai. However, it remains uncertain whether all these fixes will be included in next week's patch.
Launched on PC and Xbox Series X and S, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was also available day-one on Game Pass as a Microsoft-owned title. The game has already attracted 4 million players. Developed by MachineGames, it has received widespread critical acclaim and won multiple awards, including three at the D.I.C.E. Awards. Fans can look forward to a PlayStation 5 release this spring.
In related news, Indiana Jones actor Harrison Ford expressed his satisfaction with Troy Baker's portrayal of the iconic character in the game. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Ford humorously remarked, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it." Ford's comments underscore his approval of Baker's performance and his stance on the use of technology in creative endeavors.
