Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for *Ironheart*, the much-anticipated MCU series set to stream on Disney+. Dominique Thorne returns as the armored superhero Riri Williams, following her debut in *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever* in 2022. Alongside her, Anthony Ramos steps into the role of Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood. The trailer, embedded below, offers fans a glimpse into Riri's evolution from a supporting character to a standalone superhero in her own right.
Parker Robbins/The Hood appears initially as a mentor figure to Riri, aiming to help her unlock her full potential. However, the trailer hints at deeper complexities to his character. *Ironheart*, executive produced by Ryan Coogler, is set to premiere with three episodes on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Disney+.
In the series, Riri reflects on her time in Wakanda as an "internship abroad." After being expelled from MIT, she faces a pivotal choice from The Hood: "Anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?" The trailer showcases Riri suiting up as Ironheart, taking flight, and engaging in high-octane action, including a dramatic moment where she punches a truck, sending it soaring over her head.
