JoJo's Game Rises Again with New Ally

KLab Inc. provides an update on their upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mobile game. Initially announced in early 2020, development hit a snag due to issues with their original partner, Shengqu Games. However, KLab has partnered with Wanda Cinemas Games of Beijing to revive the project.

After overcoming development hurdles, the game is back on track for a global release (excluding Japan) in 2026. Wanda Cinemas Games boasts a portfolio of successful mobile titles, including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

Created by Hirohiko Araki and first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987, this popular series has spawned numerous anime adaptations and films. The series features a surreal world blending reality with supernatural elements and intense battles, encompassing diverse storylines ranging from vampire confrontations to interdimensional conflicts.

This isn't the franchise's first foray into gaming; a Super Famicom RPG debuted in 1993, followed by various titles. Popular Android games based on the series include JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018).
