Metro Quester – Hack & Slash has just hit the Android platform, offering a unique twist on the traditional KEMCO JRPG formula. This game dives deep into the gritty, old-school dungeon crawler genre, providing a turn-based JRPG experience that's both challenging and engaging.

Seek the Truth of a Lost World

In Metro Quester – Hack & Slash, you take on the role of a scavenger, leading your crew into the depths of underground ruins to gather resources before your weekly food quota of 100 runs out. This quota must be met every seven in-game days to keep your team alive and operational.

Your journey takes you through monster-filled dungeons in areas like Otemachi and Ginza, where you search for leftovers and other valuable items. Survival is key, and you can only level up once you return to a safe camp, provided you've managed to gather enough resources.

With 24 unique characters to choose from, each belonging to one of eight distinct classes, you have the freedom to customize your team's combo skills, weapons, and strategies. Each ability in the game consumes action points, and you're limited to five points per turn with only one use per ability, making strategic planning essential.

As you explore the dungeon, it unfolds before you, revealing hidden food supplies, monster nests, keys to new areas, and potential campgrounds where you can establish a new base.

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash Is Now Out on Android

The game's aesthetic is deliberately minimalistic, with a bleak and colorless environment that starkly contrasts with your vibrant team. You can get a closer look at the game's atmosphere and gameplay in the official trailer below.

For those who crave more after completing the main storyline, Metro Quester – Hack & Slash offers a NEW GAME+ mode, perfect for players who enjoy tackling tougher challenges on subsequent playthroughs.

Available now on the Google Play Store for $14.99, Metro Quester – Hack & Slash is exclusively for Android devices and supports only English and Japanese languages. Note that the game does not support game controllers.
