Rest is essential in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Sleeping fully restores your health, eliminating the need for excessive food and potions. Here's how to catch some Z's.
How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Early in the game, securing a bed is paramount. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, choose either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline. Completing their initial tasks will grant you access to a bed. Radovan's location in Tachov offers a closer option for many players. Finish his smithing tutorial, and you'll be able to sleep in the room adjacent to the forge.
This bed will be marked on your world map as your designated sleeping spot. A nearby chest provides convenient storage. Whenever you need to heal, return here to rest.
Sleeping at Campsites
When immediate access to your bed isn't possible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game world offer an alternative. Some campsites might be occupied by bandits; you'll need to clear them out first. Empty campsites, however, are readily available. These locations are marked on your map, and interacting with the bedrolls allows you to sleep. While not as comfortable as a proper bed, they effectively restore health.
Sleeping in NPCs' beds is a last resort. Getting caught could lead to a confrontation with the guards.
