While Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched in a much more stable state than its predecessor, the game still has its share of technical problems—a common challenge for large-scale RPGs with ambitious designs. Warhorse Studios remains committed to post-launch refinements, and their upcoming patch appears to be a major undertaking.
In a recent Tech4gamers interview, global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed that the next update will resolve more than 1,000 bugs.
"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."
Naturally, players are curious whether the update will bring substantial additions beyond bug fixes—such as new gameplay features or quality-of-life improvements. Given the extended development time, hopes are high for meaningful upgrades, though details will only be confirmed when the full patch notes are released.

However, initial features will be limited; for example, players won’t be able to create custom missions right away. The studio plans to expand modding tools over time. A specific release date for the patch has not yet been announced.
