Niantic is bringing full Lunar New Year celebrations to Monster Hunter Now, offering event-exclusive gear for dedicated hunters. The legendary elder dragon Kirin returns when February begins, alongside previously released special equipment from 2024 becoming available again.
The dragon's reappearance introduces a mighty dragon-element light bowgun - perfect for hunters concerned about facing Kirin. Players can further boost their success chances with special Lunar New Year-themed bundles, including stylish layered armor sets to match the festive season.
The current Monster Hunter Now event runs through February 2nd, giving players another opportunity to acquire the Lucky Dragon Hammer, Fortune Dragon Fans, and Dragon Dance Mask if missed previously. Skilled hunters defeating Gold Rathian, Pink Rathian, or Banbaro can earn Tickets redeemable for the Lucky Light Bowgun, Lucky Dragon Hammer, and Fortune Dragon Fans.
