Konami Targets 2025 Launch for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Remake

Konami has shared new insights on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Series producer Noriaki Okamura emphasized that the studio’s key goal for 2025 is to deliver a refined, top-tier game that meets fan expectations.

In a 4Gamer interview, Okamura stated: "We’re dedicating significant effort to completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025." He noted that the remake is already playable from start to finish, with developers using the remaining time to enhance details and elevate quality.

Previous speculation from PlayStation suggested a 2024 release, but those plans fell through. Studio representatives and insiders now confirm the game is set for a 2025 launch. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The game aims to retain the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and visuals. Alongside graphical upgrades, Okamura promised new features to enrich the player experience.

Konami unveiled the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. The over two-minute video showcases intense scenes, highlighting the protagonist, key adversaries, an airdrop, and a thrilling shootout.
