NetEase Games has unveiled an exciting trailer showcasing the Darkhold battle pass for Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. This upcoming season introduces Dracula as the central antagonist, sidelining Doctor Doom for the time being. Following Dracula's cunning trap for Doctor Strange, it falls to The Fantastic Four to rally and combat his malevolent forces. Eager fans won't have to wait long, as Season 1 is set to launch on January 10 at 1 AM PST.

The Marvel Rivals Season 1 battle pass is priced at 990 Lattice, approximately $10. As players progress through the pass, they'll earn 600 Lattice and 600 Units, which can be used to purchase additional cosmetics or even the next battle pass. Those who purchase the pass will have the opportunity to unlock 10 unique skins, along with sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. Importantly, players can complete the battle pass at their own pace, as it does not expire at the end of the season.

NetEase Games has provided an official glimpse into the battle pass skins for Season 1. Magneto dons the regal King Magnus outfit, inspired by his iconic House of M costume. Rocket Raccoon sports a Western-themed look, complete with a wanted poster featuring his face. Iron Man is transformed into a medieval knight with golden armor reminiscent of the Dark Souls series. Peni Parker's vibrant new outfit features a striking blue and white color scheme, while Namor wears a striking green costume accented with gold on his belt and helm.

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Battle Pass Skins

  • Loki - All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight - Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon - Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker - Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto - King Magnus
  • Namor - Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man - Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock - Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch - Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine - Blood Berserker

The aesthetic of Season 1 leans heavily into dark and gloomy themes. Wolverine's skin draws inspiration from the legendary vampire hunter Van Helsing, and new maps feature a haunting blood moon over New York City. Loki's All-Butcher skin exudes a sinister vibe with its dark green and black color scheme, while Moon Knight's costume is predominantly black with striking white accents. Scarlet Witch dons one of her signature red dresses with purple highlights, and Adam Warlock appears in golden armor complemented by a crimson cape.

While the battle pass has generated significant excitement, some fans expressed surprise at the absence of skins for The Fantastic Four. With a wealth of new content on the horizon, anticipation is high for what NetEase Games has in store for Marvel Rivals.
